PURPOSE_ My website is
dedicated to the basic characteristics
and care of Cockatiels and exhibiting Cockatiels. I have a collection of
"Articles", "Questions & Answers" and "Avian
Links" to
approved websites to
help you research. I strongly believe everyone should learn about any
type of animal specie
they consider keeping.
BREEDING GOALS_ My interest has evolved since 1998 as a "Pet
Cockatiel
Breeder". Since 2005 I have concentrated on breeding
"Top BencH" show
cockatiels. In 2008 I am learning
"The
art of breeding a
champion". In 2009 I will endeavor to add
genes for longevity in my cockatiel babies, cockatiels should live 20 +
years, not eight or nine years +. I believe that too many cockatiel family
lines are genetically set for a shorter life-span.
All That
Breeding_ won't make my cockatiels sweeter pet birds, but
I enjoy keeping this type cockatiel more. "Beauty is in the eye of the
beholder".
